Create Project: Robert Bruce – 2015

The 2015 Create Event was at Robert Bruce Elementary. The kindergarten area had a bike path painted on the blacktop as well as an alphabet circle and number squares. A shed was donated to house their play equipment including four new tricycles that were donated. Other pavement games were painted throughout the campus, including their large dodge ball circle. Another shed was donated and installed in the garden area along with gardening supplies. A vinyl picket fence was installed and outdoor classroom seating was created out of tree trunks. Planting was done in a walkway between classrooms and at the front of the school, where a large retaining wall was constructed. The retaining wall was a huge project and made a great impact on the curb appeal of the front of the school. Nine murals were painted; four of them were painted around the drinking fountains with water themes, such as water conservation.
