About Us

When it comes to charity, most of us want to help people that are less fortunate or in need. However often times, we feel discouraged to give because we feel one person cannot make a difference or we do not have the time or do not know where our money is going. With those thoughts in mind, we started a foundation at Safran Cabin called, Give & Grow.

Give & Grow is a non-profit organization focused on education. We believe that a child with an education is a child with a future. We are an independent non-profit organization managed and run by volunteers comprising of Safran employees. Give & Grow targets schools in our local communities that are disadvantaged.

A child with an education is a child with a future.

Safran Cabin looks forward to this event every year. This year was actually part two of our Excelsior project that started prior to the pandemic. In early 2020, volunteers constructed a new kindergarten playground. It feels great to finally finish our Give & Grow improvement project for Excelsior Elementary.

It was my first Give and Grow participation, and I had a very friendly experience. And to see the smiling faces of the kids when they discovered the new paintings was priceless!

These projects create cohesion within the teams. I am based in France, so for me it’s also a good and efficient way to get to know my colleagues better from the local sites; and on top of it, it’s for a good cause!

It was so much fun (and equally as rewarding) to do good works for others aside from yourself!

If I can help make the kids’ elementary school experience a little better, it’s worth it.

I love to help my community. So if Safran gives me a chance to do it, I will take the opportunity every time I can.

The results of the build speaks to the strong characteristics of the teamwork we have at Safran Cabin. Comments from students, staff, and district managers have been pouring in with endless gratitude. Although it was a one day event, the results will be felt for years to come.

It is great for Safran Cabin to sponsor these activities. It allows employees to stay aware of the necessity of helping our community and it is really nice for team building!
