On September 15, 60 volunteers from five different Safran sites located in Evertt Bothell and Marysville, debuted their first “Create” project in Washington State at Hawthorne. The project at Hawthorne Elementary School included installing a Gaga pit (Gaga is a fast paced, high energy, sport played in an octagonal pit), painting on the sports courts, including a US map, painting a welcome mural on the upper playground painting four murals each highlighting SOAR (Safety, Ownership, Respect) Priming and painting basket back past and rims, donating sports equipment carts and equipment.
